Join
Girl Scouts is for every girl!
It is a fun way to make new friends,
share outdoor adventures, check out future careers, explore science and
technology, run a cookie business and develop leadership skills!
As the largest girl network in the country, Girl Scouts
empowers girls to become confident, courageous and thoughtful leaders
who take action to make the world a better place.
Volunteers make it happen. By connecting
with girls and guiding their experiences, adult volunteers are vital to
Girl Scouting and are always needed.
Interested in joining a
Wayzata Girl Scout troop?
The Wayzata Service Unit provides services
to the
troops in the Wayzata district public schools
and private and parochial schools, including Blake, Holy Name,
Providence Academy, Redeemer Lutheran School, and St. Bart's.
Your school's
organizer will be happy to
assist you. If your school is not listed, please contact our Service Unit Manager.

p.m.
St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, Plymouth MN
We will be forming new troops with girls
and adults in the Wayzata
areas. Come with your daughter to learn more about scouting and
join a
troop! Still have questions? Contact our Service Unit Manager.
Membership dues are $12. Financial
assistance is available.
We also need older girl troops (Juniors and up with their leaders) to
help lead activities for the younger girls. Contact Norma P. if you can
help.
Of interest to new members
and their families is our New
Leaders
page. Even if you are not a leader, the information here may be helpful
for you as you learn about Girl Scouting! For more information, visit
our council
(Girl Scouts of Minnesota
and Wisconsin River Valleys) and Girl
Scouts of the USA. If you have questions, they might be
answered
in the Parenting FAQs.
