Ocelots are small cats that live in ranges from very southern Texas to areas in South America. They have very good vision and hearing and see better in the dark than we can. The word “ocelot” comes from the Mexican Aztec tlalocelot, which means “field tiger.” The species that inhabit Texas are classified as federally endangered with less than 100 ocelots known to exist in the entire United States. |

Wondering what the Guidelines are?
- Girl Scouts can send e-mails to friends/family - they need to use either a group e-mail address, the address of a parent/guardian/volunteer, a "blind" address (so recipients can't see the sender's e-mail address) OR use the M2OS website.
- Girl Scouts 13 and over may use social networking sites that are closed communities (i.e., a post on their personal facebook page) to market to friends/family.
- Girl Scouts should sign with their first names only, their Troop/Juliette number or name and the Council ID (Girl Scout River Valleys).
- Sales may not be transacted on the Internet (for example, through a site that has an electronic shopping cart, online auction sites or public sale sites such as eBay and Craigslist. The only exception to this is GSUSA-approved magazine vendor programs (the online magazine/nut program website provided by M2/Ashdon Farms).
- Girl Scouts should sign the GSUSA Online Safety Pledge.
