Join us for an unforgettable weekend at "The Wayzata Overnight", a Girl Scout event centered around the theme of games! It's an opportunity for girls in the Wayzata Service Unit to come together and have a fantastic time. Please note that for the safety and well-being of our attendees, every Daisy, Brownie, or Junior must have an adult present to attend, and each adult must be registered with Girl Scouts, River Valleys.
If you would like to help volunteer at the event, it would be greatly appreciated. We are still looking for game supervisors and help in the kitchen.
For Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors and Juliettes, there's an exclusive opportunity to arrive on Friday evening for an extra overnight and to help with event setup. CSA Girl Scout Troops attending will be responsible for meeting the required adult-to-girl ratio guidelines, but won't need an adult for every person in their troop, providing flexibility. Check in time will be Friday after 4:00 p.m.
*Please remember that Friday night is only open to girls in middle school or above. No exceptions will be made.
Throughout the weekend, we'll enjoy a variety of activities, including bingo, "Minute to Win It" games, a beanbag tournament, singing, skits, and making SWAPS to showcase your Girl Scout spirit. New troop leader training will also be available, making this an excellent learning opportunity for both adults and girls. This event is particularly special as it's the first time we're running it, promising fresh experiences and lasting memories. Most activities will be held in the Gray Koch building for your convenience. If weather permits, we'll even have a campfire on Saturday night with delicious s'mores.
Please remember that adults are responsible for their daughtes during the event, with supervision provided during the adult training on Saturday afternoon.
Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to bond, play, and learn together at "The Wayzata Overnight." We look forward to seeing you there!
