- Girls from Troop 11163 (Britta M., Michelle R.,
Nicole H., Chelsea K. and Kirsten B. of Plymouth) all earned their Girl
Scout Gold Awards and were honored at a ceremony August 7, 2008, at the
community room at Lunds in Plymouth. Read more about their accomplishments!
- Troop 2189 hosted a party for the children at
St. Anne's Place at Pump It Up in Plymouth. The children, ages 4-14,
and two St. Anne's staff members were treated to pizza, pop, and
cookies, not to mention all the fun playing at Pump It Up. Thank you to
Susan Finn at Pump It Up who was generous enough to help the girls make
this party happen. The kids had a wonderful time and did not want to
leave. The girls in Troop 2189 felt great that they were able to host
this event and start off 2008 with a wonderful memory for all of them.
They used the money they earned over the past year to pay for the event.
- Several Plymouth troops made and sent fabric
postcards
in February 2007 to recuperating U.S. soldiers as part of a special
Valentine's Day service project called "Heart-2-Heart." They are
featured
on a national Web site.
