  • Badge in a Bag - Offers "Badge in a Bag" kits for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. Each "Badge in a Bag" kit contains a few projects so that a troop of several girls can earn their petals, try-its, or badges. Kits contain all supplies and instructions. You just need basic materials like scissors, glue, and
    crayons. Visit their Web site for any specials.

  • Recipe for Original Girl Scouts Cookies - This recipe was published in the Girl Scout magazine American Girl in 1922. Scouts were encouraged to sell the cookies as a fundraiser. This might be a fun add-on to one of the historical badges.

    • Como Zoo - Troop 12771 attended the Como Zoo 'Girl's Night Out" Event.  Click on the link for a great description of the event!
    • Beki Cook's Cakes - Wilton Method Instructor teaches the basics of cake decorating, and girls earn the Icing Fun patch. Will come to your meeting location to teach the techniques. Cost is $12 per girl (includes supplies, certificate, and patch). Two weeks' notice is required to order the supplies and patches. The class is recommended for students 8 years old and older.

    • Clay Camp™ program - Offers classes to earn the Ceramics Badge. Instructor is Sue Dasher Wallace, and she will come to your meeting location.

    • Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts
      • Maple Grove location - This location will fulfill all of the requirements for the Sew Simple Junior Badge. The girls can make PJ pants or Cadette vests from pattern to finished product. They also can make a four square quilt to donate to a charity of their choice.
    • NorthWest Rhythmic School of Rhythmic Gymnastics - Offers classes on Rhythmic Gymnastics. Additional information is available.

    • Spread the Bread - A community service program that "encourages our world, especially our youth, to bake any kind of bread and spread that bread to honor our heroes and to help those in need."

    • Vertical Endeavors - Offers classes in rock climbing. See additional information.

    • Young Chefs Academy - Offers cooking classes to children in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity.
      • Edina Location - Offers five different Brownie classes, five different Junior Girl Scout classes, and "Girl Scout" days for individual service units.
