Western Skies Encampment is an exciting weekend in the out-of-doors that brings together Girl Scouts, their leaders, and other volunteers for fun, sharing, and enrichment. This event is a great way for troops to get acquainted with members from neighboring communities.

Western Skies Encampment was held on September 12-14, 2008, at Camp Greenwood. The girls enjoyed programs that included nature, crafts, singing, campfires, and a box oven bake-off contest. A Saturday evening Lip Sync contest was held at the amphitheater.
